Cy Lecerf Maulpoix

Cy Lecerf Maulpoix has been part of queer and climate justice collectives in France since COP21. As an independent journalist, he has written about social struggles, migrations, queer culture and literature through interviews, investigations published in the general and specialized press. Author of Écologies déviantes (Cambourakis 2021), and Edward Carpenter et l'Autre Nature (Le Passager Clandestin 2022), he is currently pursuing several writing projects on the links between sexual liberation struggles, ecology, and anti-capitalism.

Isabel Roma

Isabel Roma was born in 1977 in Porto and works as a TV producer at RTP. She started by working in tourism, her initial qualification. Television came by chance, which led her to study audiovisual communication. In the meantime, she also graduated in information sciences. She works at RTP since 1999, where she has produced contents in music, theatre, and documentary, so as large-scale special events organized by the public broadcaster. In parallel, she is a researcher in genealogy, participates in podcasts about music, and collaborates informally on the promotion of musical projects.

Joana Caetano

Joana Caetano is a collaborator at the CETAPS - Centre for English and Anglo-Portuguese Studies and is doing her PhD at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto, with a project financed by the FCT [Ref. SFRH/BD/140673/2018]. As a researcher, she has dedicated herself to Utopian and Science Fiction Studies, Feminist Studies, and Anglo-American Literatures. She publishes articles in diverse reference magazines and often participates in scientific and cultural events.

João Vladimiro

João Vladimiro was born in 1981 in Porto. He graduated in Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. In dance/performance he highlights: Circolando (1999-2012), Madalena Victorino, Karine Ponties, and Joana Providência. Of his cinematic adventure: Pé na terra (2006) – Best Portuguese Director short film award, IndieLisboa; Jardim (2008), Lacrau (2013) – Best Portuguese Feature and Árvore da Vida, Indie Lisboa; Anteu (2018) – four main awards at three Portuguese festivals. These films were screened in festivals such as: Fid Marseille, Mar de Plata, Viennale, Seville, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Rotterdam, and Buenos Aires, always in the main competitions.

José Paulo Santos

José Paulo Santos was born in Coimbra in 1979 and lives in Matosinhos. He has worked in independent filmmaking since 2013. Some of his films include ...além da sala de espera, that is part of the National Film Plan, Circunstâncias, Observador, 13h and 1965 | Panreal, um edifício de Nadir Afonso. They have been screened in over 100 international film festivals, and won over 40 International Awards. He has served as a jury in several international film festivals. He is currently doing his PhD at Vigo University, where he is directing a film on the poet Avelino Díaz, in a Galician Argentinian production.

Paulo Brás

Since 2009, Paulo Brás has simultaneously developed, and often in an impure fashion, a path in both the letters and the performing arts. He participated in Queer Porto 1 with the installation "only connect", about quotation as a means to preserve memory in queer culture. In 2001, alongside Ricardo Braun, he opened Livraria aberta, Porto’s first queer bookshop, and the only one in activity in the country.
