Magaluf Ghost Town
Miguel Ángel Blanca
Documentary : 93' / Gay, Elder, Friendship

Strange things are happening in Magaluf: the smell of piss and blood, police cars and ambulances crossing the streets without anyone noticing, screams in the middle of the night... The citizens of this quiet town on the island of Mallorca are torn between everyday cursing and genuine holiday pleasure. A million tourists invade the streets during the summer as if they were specters that transform the public space into a theme park where almost everything is allowed.
